On the Road with Lou Jasikoff
The "Visitor" will soon be the new home to my series, "On the Road with Lou Jasikoff,” This Series has been an ongoing series on Sanity Check Radio, The Independent Gazette, and most recently our Seeker magazine.
Starting in February’s issue, I will be writing a column of stories highlighting places I visit or have visited. Sometimes traveling myself, other times with friends and family, or just some memories of getting to know this beautiful and vast country of ours.
The series is dedicated to my Dad who was ever vigilant behind the wheel showing us the United States, and to one of the last trips we took as a family that I planned as an adult, visiting Alaska, taking the ferry exploring the actual inside passage of Alaska, before driving to Denali, over dirt roads to Chicken, Alaska, before hopping the ALCAN Highway home. I remember the day my Dad looked at me and said, “You did a good thing, Lou, I am proud of you and not just for this.” and that was all, but that was enough.Until the series continues, I want to wish you joy and peace.
Remember to share your appreciation and love. Christmas is a time when we take stock of our blessings and can reach out to those who have touched our lives. Thank you for reading our new magazine I hope to become close and fast friends with each and every reader. The best of the Holiday season to you all.
